In this role, the Lead is responsible for planning, structuring, and monitoring system implementation and support activities; and for overseeing, and reporting on work assignments of the assigned team members.
The Lead reports to the Manager, taking direction from and collaborating with the Manager on work priorities and assignments as well as resolution and escalation of issues. Working in conjunction with the Manager, the Lead defines project objectives and oversees work activities of the team.
The Lead works closely with a variety of other teams in the EIS department to accomplish overall high quality, high-service provision of information systems to department end users.
The Lead is expected to be a deep subject matter expert on the assigned information systems, and to identify and plan appropriate training and oversight of team members to lead them in attaining a high level of application knowledge as well as strong, proactive customer service.
The Lead serves as a primary point of contact and liaison with managers and staff who are the end-users and customers of the information systems, and provides leadership to establish a high level of customer service and proactive advice to the customers regarding information systems.
Requirements
· Subject matter expert in Cardiology systems and operations required, with 4 - 6 years healthcare information systems experience
· Expert knowledge of project management methodologies and experience managing multiple projects
· Strong computer skills including Windows, Exchange/Outlook, Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint and Project
· Experience in leading, supervising and developing teams
· Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and manage multiple priorities
· Excellent interpersonal skills including superior oral and written communications
· Strong analytical and problem solving skills including tolerance for ambiguity
· Bachelor’s Degree preferred or equivalent professional experience
Nurse Practitioners working in Healthstat worksite clinics assist patients in reaching personal health improvement goals. NPs must be able to quickly assimilate to the employer’s culture, environment and goals. Relationships based on trust, an understanding of the employer’s health benefits program and the local health care community is required. Strong collaborative skills are necessary in order to make the best use of all resources available to employees. The NPs must engage employees in personal health improvement, deliver primary care services, and act as a resource and advocate for employee health care needs.
