4 old snowmobiles for sale/parts (Elwell, MI) $100

I have 3 old sleds and no use for them, so i'm selling them cheap.

1978 john deere spitfire: hood is trashed, seized engine, missing carb and recoil. skis don't match and looks like someone hit a tree with it. tank and drivetrain seem good. a few other good parts on it.

1972 yamaha sl338c: ran great a few years ago but now seized from sitting. needs fuel lines, windshield, and secondary clutch bearings. has new front drive cog. seat was re-covered but not well. track is worn. otherwise solid.

1977 scorpion whip 340. seized from sitting outside. no hood. mostly complete otherwise though. has a bad stator/ignition system so it hadn't been run in a while and was seized when i got it. many good parts.

1975? massey ferguson ski whiz 304. no engine. hood broken. a friend gave up on restoring this years ago so i got it. suspension seems seized and it is missing some parts. there are some usable things on it though. the tank is good, and the track and skis are nice.

$100 takes all 4, but i will separate these if you want and i also have other random old sled parts. johnson/evinrude are my favorites and i'm always looking for those, so i don't have any parts or interest in doing much with these 4. if there's a specific part you want, i can part these out too. just call me at 989-506-3838 and we can work something out if you're interested.

Checked the CDI, started to remove the front to get to the stator and that is where it sits now. Has a wood roll around stand, pad for front. Everything is there for it to run minus spark. ALL OFFERS WILL BE CONSIDERD..i am selling my winter project becouse i have no time to work on it and i feel bad letting it sit in my grage and gather dust. it is a mid to late 80's kawasaki tecate 3 wheeler that has had the rear end streched out and a 1976 honda 750cc engine put on it...perfect for Dunes or maby even a drag bike? i got the bike a few months back with big plans for it then i found out i hade no time to work on it, i cleaned the carbs, replaced the gas lines, and ran some fuel cleaner throug it. from what i can see it needs....new tube in front tire, carbs adjusted, front break leaver(everything besides the lever is there), throtle lever, anda new shift lever...all of that stuff is very little stuff if you have the time to put into the bike ....plastics are in ok shape seat is in fair shape, gas tank is also in good shape but is black so may need painting if you want. THE BIKE DOES START AND RUN!!!! it sounds good when its running and i think is gana be very fast when done i hate to sell it but it needs to go....would be a great winter project...i am open to trades of other running things like atv snowmobile any..it dosent hurn to ask....otherwise iam looking to get $600 OBO

This sled runs and drives good. It has new plugs and the carb was just cleaned. Everything is in working order. Sled has a 35 hp 340 cc engine. It is fast for a 340. It has its share of scratches too. The seat could be recovered but it doesnt look that bad, the back quarter of the seat is black duct tape. The sled doesnt always start but all it needs is a squirt of starting fluid and it will start good. This problem could probly be fixed by a simple carb adjustment. First sled has 7801 miles, most on our fine states network of groomed trails, this machine has a crease in the windshield, have a replacement but not yetinstalled. Second sled has 5445 miles. Brand New supercharger for a yamaha apex - Moutain Performance Inc, Stage I kit, intended for a maximum of 12 PSI. of boost - Kits can be run at 7lbs of boost on pump gas. Each pound of boost is equal to approximately a 10HP increase, so when decreasing boost to run pump gas. Stage 1 stock motor apex produces 240+HP at 10 pounds of boost. dont make the mistake of installing a stage 2 kit on your stock apex - the fuel system can only handle 12 psi without major mods to your motor and the stage 1 works better at 12 psi and under than a stage 2 kit. these kits are much funner on the trail than a turbo (lag) - pulls like a freight train and you can tape it for miles and no worries (on low boost or with some race gas). we have one with over 10,000 miles, still running fast and fine.
