Vintage footed glass jug with large opening perfect for a terrarium, build a ship in it, fill it full of coins, or whatever floats your boat. The bottom has a design and says 1776 and there is also a 5 which more than likely means 5 gallons. It is old but I doubt if it is from 1776. I don't see other identification on the jug. It has no cracks or chips. The opening is 4-1/4 inches in diameter, the base is 10 inches in diameter, and the jug is 19 inches tall standing upright. Asking $55.00 cash.
