We are rehoming our female tortie cat who is about 6ish years old. Her name is Mystic. We feel the need to re-home her because our other cats have been swatting at her, running her off, to the point where she feels she has to hide most of the day (she's at the bottom of their "pecking order"). It's no life for her. She deserves a much calmer and quieter environment.
About Mystic: She was rescued by our former local cat rescue (we used to live in Nunica, MI) they found her trapped and abandoned in the middle of a farm field. Her nails were twisted and broken, and she was very wary of people. Behaviors in the past pointed to possible abuse and definite neglect. This was years ago, and she has grown a lot. She is still very cautious around people but she has never harmed anyone, she's very gentle.
Mystic is:
- Indoor-only (she cannot be an outdoor cat)
- Updated on vaccines
- Spayed
- A little shy, so please give her time!
Perfect environment for Mystic:
- Quiet/calm/peaceful environment
- She would be the only cat or has only 1 other cat friend around her age.
- She would receive much attention.
- She would remain indoors only.
- She would have lots of toys and space.
If interested in her, please reach out! We will ask questions to ensure she goes to the perfect home.
